The OTI Development Team is pleased to announce the release of ETAP 7.1. The ETAP 7.1 release expands upon the many new and enhanced time-saving capabilities added to ETAP 7.0. Below is a brief description of what's new in the release.
All ETAP Modules are Free to Use Until End of Year
Response to ETAP 7.0 has been tremendous. With the release of ETAP 7.1 and to ensure our customers have a chance to try all the new and existing capabilities, we’re offering current customers free use of every ETAP module through the end of 2009 at no additional charge.
Existing ETAP users with a valid ETAP Upgrade & User-Support Maintenance Contract (UUC) may enter an activation code allowing you to try all ETAP modules* for a free evaluation period. The Activation Code will be e-mailed to the ETAP administrator on record (i.e., the network administrator, purchasing agent, engineering manager). If you are unable to obtain the Activation Code, please contact the ETAP Sales Department at (949) 900-1000, or e-mail us at sales@etap.com and we will be glad to assist.

ETAP webinars provide a great opportunity to learn more about features and capabilities available in ETAP.
These free online presentations are conducted by ETAP Engineers demonstrating how to use ETAP with time-saving tips and techniques. Registration is required.
ETAP 7.1 - Arc Flash

The Arc Flash webinar will discuss customizing arc flash hazard labels. This new feature provides the ability to customize and link arc flash labels using Microsoft Word. An ETAP Engineer will demonstrate how to sort and customize using filtering tools, user selectable label fields, insert formatting and logic rules, and more.
ETAP 7.1 - Cable Ampacity

The cable system modules have been enhanced with the addition of new standards and cable layers. This webinar will discuss the Ampacity Derating IEC 60634 standard (channel, wire mesh, architrave / window frame, masonry).
ETAP 7.1 New Features Slide Presentation
During the installation of ETAP 7.1, you will view slides summarizing the new features included in the 7.1 release along with the new features that were included in the major release of ETAP 7.0.
