Over 40 attendees from 27 companies internationally participated in this year's conference. All attendees received certificates of participation.
The symposium followed the conference on Friday, June 21st providing feedback and suggestions
directly to OTI's R&D group
for future development of ETAP modules.

Twelve nuclear users presented a variety of topics discussing project experiences and usages of ETAP to manage, operate, analyze, and optimize nuclear utility facilities. Presentations were also provided by several OTI senior engineers discussing details of what's new in ETAP 6.0 and enhanced techniques of using ETAP more efficiently.

The 2005 annual conference was held June 22-24 at the ETAP Learning Center in Irvine, California. The conference was information packed with a variety of presenters. Topics included: ETAP 5.0 & 5.5 Enhancements, Balancing the Load Flow Model with Plant Trend Data LTC Application Considerations, Device Coordination (Star), Arc Flash - Enhancement and Star, Transient Stability Modeling, Dynamic Parameter Tuning and Dependencies, Emergency Diesel Generator, Motor Acceleration with Motor Starting and Transient Stability Modules, Main Transformer Replacement Analysis with ETAP, Battery Sizing with Control System Diagram, DCSDM Database Conversion to ETAP, ETAP 6.0 Enhancements, Quality Assurance, and Roundtable Discussion.

The 4th annual ETAP NUUC agenda was packed with informational demonstrations and discussion topics, including ETAP 5.0 features and capabilities, wizards, database reporting, global tolerances, arc flash, revision control, libraries, source operating categories, MS alerts, control system analyses, single-phase analyses, Star and project management features. Presentation topics included Static vs. Dynamic Analysis and DC Calculations at Nuclear Facility. Speakers included ETAP Users sharing their experiences utilizing ETAP at their facilities. An informative roundtable session concluded the conference.
