MENA User Conference and Seminar, October 2017

ETAP MENA invited the electrical engineering community to join their 2nd 101 Technical Seminar & User Conference in Dubai, on October 22nd. The conference gave attendees an opportunity to network and learn about the latest ETAP software developments. User
case presentations gave attendees practical insights into ETAP installations and applications and sparked many discussions amongst attending users.

The event opened with a keynote by ETAP’s President & CEO Dr. Farrokh Shokooh, providing an ETAP overview and revealing new features & capabilities of the upcoming ETAP 17 software release. An engaging session followed on ETAP Real Time, given by the Vice President of MENA & SAARC, Mr. Shaikh Sahid Hossain.

Post-lunch sessions included the presentation of ETAP iCon – The Intelligent Real Time Controller with discussions on its features, followed by user case study presentations.

In-between sessions, attendees were invited to meet with ETAP engineers at the demonstration counters, discussing customer showcases and application questions.

The event ended on a high note with closing remarks from Mr. Hossain, giving an outlook on next year’s event and extending the invitation to colleagues from Europe and India.
