Webinar

Short Circuit & Dynamic Modeling of Inverter-based Resources

2:00 AM - 3:00 AM PDT, 1 hour
Aug 12, 2021
Free Webinar

Webinar Description

Today’s power systems depend on renewable energy resources to meet their load demand. Renewable energy resources are typically interconnected to the power system through inverters. Performance of inverter-based resources (IBRs) during normal, fault and system dynamics heavily depends on their controller logic and settings.

In this webinar, we will present and demonstrate the following:

  • Fundamentals of inverter operation and control
  • Proper selection and analysis of ETAP IBR models to meet different study objectives
  • Built-in and User-defined Dynamic Models
  • Vendor-DLL package to allow vendors to develop IBR black-box models

The webinar broadcast starts at 10:00am, GMT+1.

This webinar will also be broadcast at 9:00 AM, Pacific Daylight Time (PDT) on August 11. Click here to register.
